In order to welcome 2019 freshmen from all over the world, strengthen exchanges and contacts between old and new students, and help new students adapt to life in Suzhou as soon as possible, on the afternoon of September 11, Silk Road School of Renmin University of China specially organized a unique "Icebreaking activity". More than 50 students from more than 30 countries including China, Albania, Australia, Dominica, France, Serbia, Singapore and Italy participated in the event.

At 3:00 pm, the Chinese and foreign students gathered in the Student Activity Room of Silk Road School to conduct free and easy exchanges on topics such as cultural experience and campus life. After the simple opening ceremony, with the relaxed background music, the students began more than two hours of communication and interaction. From personal hobbies, future life planning to cultural differences in various countries, everyone shared their food while talking freely.
